Wadi Rum, October 2016

Right, lets get to the main point...
I HAVE NEVER EVER BEEN TO WADI RUM BEFORE THIS TRIP!

Right, So a group of 19 people from Jordan, Mexico, Netherlands, Germany, Norway, Spain, Italia and Sudan decided suddenly to go to Wadi Rum for fun.. NOW with that being said and because I'm too lazy to write about the trip so I'm gonna steal the text from my friend who finally convened me to visit Wadi Rum.

Please follow her
page Fleur Travels as she will travel the world for an entire year :)

----------------------------------

Once upon a time, we had a plan. It was a beautiful plan, to go to wadi rum with a big group of friends, passing by Aqaba for a swim and to enjoy the duty free policy over there. As usual in Jordan, our beautiful plan did not work out. We ended up spending around 9 hours in our school bus, being stopped by every single policeman in the country to check our passports (only Arabs and guys most of the time) since a school bus full of people who are clearly not school going children is apparently a popular target and therefore missing out on our time on the beach and the sunset in the desert. No swim, no sunset and to top it off our camp was suddenly fully booked. You can easily say that nothing worked out as planned. But, who cares, here we are at one of the most special places of the world, enjoying the beautiful sky full of stars, laughing about everything we experienced today in great company. The desert of Jordan is as magical as always!
